Asking for your Information:
We will sometimes ask you for personal information such as your name, address, e-mail and other details. By providing your information to us, we can deliver the most relevant information to you only when you have requested to hear about it.

When we ask for personal information for any reason, we will provide a link to this policy statement to make our intentions clear.

Personal Privacy Information:
Practical Compliance Solutions, Corp., will take all appropriate steps to keep your personal information confidential. Those steps include limiting access to visitor information databases, communicating this policy statement to all Institute employees and establishing and enforcing penalties for violating this statement.

PCS will not sell, rent, or give away our visitors' personal information to others for use in selling products or services. We will vigorously enforce all privacy agreements we have with other organizations.

We may communicate with visitors via e-mail or other online delivery devices only if the visitor agrees to receive those communications. Members of the public, who believe they are receiving our communications in error or no longer desire to receive them, should inform us and we will remove those clients' names from our mailing lists. Practical Compliance Solutions, Corp., will be judicious in the use of e-mail and paper mail to communicate with members of the public. Practical Compliance Solutions, Corp., may team with others to provide our visitors with enhanced Internet services. In providing such services, our partners also may request personal information from our clients. We prohibit these partners from selling or giving away our visitor information and we require them to have a posted Privacy Policy, so that visitors may review it before providing personal information to our partners.

In addition, we may provide links to sites that operate under different privacy practices. We encourage our visitors to review the privacy policies of such sites before providing any personal information. Although we cannot control the use of information provided to such third parties, we will try to link only to those sites that have suitable privacy policies.

To protect your personal information, we store your information in a secure area. Access to such information is strictly monitored.

Cookies

What are cookies and how do we use them?

A cookie is a small file of information which our server may send to your computer when you visit our site. Cookies allow our server to track how you navigate through our site, such as what pages you viewed. The cookies we may use identify you merely as a number and they are destroyed when you leave our site. (If you are uncomfortable regarding cookies use, please keep in mind you can disable cookies on your computer by changing the settings in the preferences or options menu in your browser.)

How do we use the information we collect passively and with cookies?

PCS uses cookies to help us better understand how visitors use our site so we can constantly improve it.

PCS will not sell, lease, or rent information we collect passively or with cookies. Nor will we sell, lease, or rent information you provide to us directly. PCS may disclose information it has collected if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is reasonably necessary to (1) comply with legal process; (2) respond to any claims; or (3) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of PCS, our customers, or the public. In addition, if PCS or substantially all of its assets are acquired, information you have provided to us will be one of the assets that is transferred.

PCS sells two applications that may use location data.

Traverse is a barcode tracking application that tracks the location of assets.

YMS is a yard management application that manages order and fleet information at a warehouse or manufacturing plant.

Both YMS and Traverse have mobile companion apps with an option to use location data to help with efficiency. Both systems are closed systems that are either installed at the customer’s facility or hosted in the cloud. All data is owned by the customer and is never used, accessed, or otherwise leveraged by PCS. Location data can be turned off in both apps if the customer does not wish to use it.
