Traverse is powerful. It is based on SQL Server 2008, but can use SQL Server 2005, SQL 2012, SQL 2014, SQL 2016, or SQL 2017. Our barcode tracking software also leverages Microsoft .NET to provide a great user experience. Traverse goes beyond your average Barcode Tracking system experience and truly gives you what you need in as few steps as possible.

If you purchase an annual support contract, you can set our barcode tracking software to automatically send error messages to PCS so we can start debugging issues before you know you have any.



Traverse performs all reports out of process keeping the browser engine unencumbered by lengthy requests of the database. All reports can be viewed as PDF (Portable Document Format), MS Excel Worksheets, MS Excel Reports, HTML, or MS Word.

Our barcode tracking system performs daily database maintenance tasks such as backups and indexing keeping your database in an optimal state. The database maintenance service is part of Traverse. If you are running Microsoft SQL Server Express or Data Center edition, or anything in between, the database service helps maintain your database's responsiveness. If however your DBA has set up his own database maintenance plans and backups, simply turn our service off.
